I see patterns in photographs.  I make several copies of a photograph I've taken, then cut out a portion, align the patterns, place them on heavier stock paper, put them together, and then contour the paper to create 3-D objects. 

On the near right is the beginning of several flowers. On the far right is a turtle and a frog I crafted from similar autumn leaves.
